Yoga has long been a part of my life. Mum taught Yoga to us as kids & since then, it's been a source of comfort, strength & peace to me. From college days to a career in Financial Services to seeking refuge on my mat to help ease the side- & after-effects of cancer treatment & beyond.


A qualified E-RYT 500 Yoga Alliance Certified Teacher (Hatha, Ashtanga Vinyasa & Accessible Yoga), I have studied & practiced with many amazing teachers over the years, including Amy Ippoliti, Donna Farhi, Nischala Joy Devi, Jivana Heyman, John Scott, Shandor Remete, James Higgins & many many more. Yoga is a lifelong lifestyle companion, a place of peace & calm, a deep abiding source of wellbeing. If we are lucky, we can engage in life-long learning, adapting & practising, doing our best on & off the mat to live lives filled with love, peace, kindness, connection & ease. 


Classes I teach focus on the importance of our breath; our need to learn how to tune into a deeper, truer awareness about how we are really feeling & where we are now in our lives & practice. Content also emphasises building our strength & enhancing our mobility. Relaxing, unwinding from the busyness & noise of the outside world; feeling part of a community & having fun are of major importance too!

Effort... Balance... Ease - that is my mantra. It is at all times YOUR practice - I am simply your guide. 

Yoga is great for cross-training. I’ve run 3 marathons (have trained for 7, long story!) & I also love cycling & hiking. Walking the full 888km Camino de Santiago in 2014, that little bit of Yoga each day along 'The Way' greatly eased the aches & pains of that odyssey. Yoga helps us recover from hard training sessions, it strengthens our core & other key muscles that we need to move comfortably & efficiently. Yoga also helps improve our balance (proprioception adaptation) & our breathing - vital for all athletes, 'weekend warrior' or otherwise, young or old, elite or funsters. 


I also teach adaptive Yoga at two cancer support centres. I feel blessed to help others just as others once helped me. Please get in touch if you’d like more information on those specific classes. Yoga is an ‘everyday’ kind of practice - something attainable to us all, on a mat, in a chair, in a wheelchair, in a bed, on a plane. Even if it’s just a few minutes of deep breathing & a few gentle stretches 'EveryDay'. Try Yoga - you just might like it…
