Hatha ClassHatha Yoga - or, just Yoga! Hatha is really ALL Yoga in a sense; as in the physical asanas part of Yoga. It is like the roots of the Tree from which grows all modern physical Yoga. On a class level, Hatha Yoga will typically mean a general-levels class; this one with a 'flow' aspect. Hatha is accessible & 'lower-key' & yet still provides all those key flexibility, strengthening & de-stressing benefits. "See" you on your mat!
Into & Back To YogaWhether you are very new to Yoga or have a few dozen classes under your belt, this is a great class for you to develop your Yoga practice in. It will give you strong foundations & Yoga fundamentals & there is focus on relaxation & fun too. Yoga is unique in its long-term ability to help strengthen & tone our bodies, improve our flexibility & enhance our sense of well being. Slow Flow VinyasaVinyasa Yoga (aka Flow Yoga); emphasis is on fitness & strength but also very much on the breath. Each movement is synchronised with the breath. Most Vinyasa classes will feature Sun Salutations. Vinyasa classes link or connect asanas (poses) together to make a sequence. These can change from week to week, class to class; the variety's one of the many enjoyable aspects of flow classes. Take this slower-paced (but not "easy"!) class to go a little deeper & enjoy.
Weekend Wind-DownA Friday evening 'Cruisey-Combo'. The 1st-half is gentle movement to unwind. The 2nd half is Yoga Nidra (aka Yogic Sleep, pure but aware relaxation). It works on the subtle body. The goal is physical, mental & emotional relaxation. It is said to ease the symptoms of stress, anxiety, PTSD, chronic back pain & much more. Typically, a class will be taught with a variety of techniques, including breath work, guided imagery & body scanning. Try it & enjoy the benefits of 'conscious sleep'.
